My Goal

My goal is to achieve independence through the democratization of digital fabrication, using recycled materials to support the queer community, all with a focus on craftsmanship

WHY?

I find a sense of wholeness in the process of creating something for oneself to enhance chosen expressions of freedom, camp, and celebration. As a designer, I also highly value craftsmanship, taking time and care in the creation process. From these values, I aim to share this perspective with individuals who, through performance art, experience similar sensations.

Elevator Pitch presentation

Here, I discuss my research on combining trash with my goal. Trash and digital fabrication, as materials and manufacturing processes, go hand in hand because they both align with the value of democratization. This is particularly important when working with the queer community, as in parties or events of self-expression like Kiki balls, there is an expression around trash and identity, transforming it into something beautiful and valuable.

Meet Delia

Delia is a DJ from the Chilean queer techno scene, identifying as non-binary and transgender. We share core values centered on self-expression and embracing trash/punk ideals. Delia's magnetic presence draws a diverse crowd as she articulates her passion through music. Additionally, with her background in architecture, I aspire to collaborate with her in the future, combining our expertise in design and expression to create something truly unique and impactful.
